Theories regarding Israel

1. Replacement theology - the Church has replaced Israel
2. Replacement theology, but the nation of Israel is reconstituted as a believing nation at the return of Christ.
3. The nation of Israel, including the current State, is prophesied in the Bible as the first of two and only two worldwide gatherings. Why?
   1. To see the destruction of Gog
   2. to build the Third Temple
   3. to enter into agreement with the antichrist ("the prince who is to come")
   4. to be judged during the Tribulation, leading to Israel's national regeneration - a spiritual awakening

"So it will be when all of these things have come upon you, the blessing and the curse which I have placed before you, and you call [them] to mind in all the nations where the LORD your God has scattered you, and you return to the LORD your God and obey Him with all your heart and soul in accordance with everything that I am commanding you today, you and your sons, then the LORD your God will restore you from captivity, and have compassion on you, and will gather you again from all the peoples where the LORD your God has scattered you. "If any of your scattered [countrymen] are at the ends of the earth, from there the LORD your God will gather you, and from there He will bring you back. "The LORD your God will bring you into the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it; and He will be good to you and make you more numerous than your fathers.

Isa 27:1
On that day the LORD will punish [fn]Leviathan the fleeing serpent,
With His fierce and great and mighty sword,

And He will kill the dragon who lives in the sea.

Isa 27:12-13
On that day the LORD will thresh from the flowing stream of the Euphrates River to the brook of Egypt, and you will be gathered up one by one, you sons of Israel.
It will come about also on that day that a great trumpet will be blown, and those who were perishing in the land of Assyria and who were scattered in the land of Egypt will come and worship the LORD on the holy mountain in Jerusalem.

Isa 11:11-12

"As I live," declares the Lord GOD, "with a mighty hand and with an outstretched arm and with wrath poured out, I assuredly shall be king over you. Dan 9:24-27

“And he will make a firm covenant with the many for one week, but in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; and on the wing of [fn]abominations will come one who [fn]makes desolate, even until a complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who [fn]makes desolate.”

70 sevens = 490 years
7x7 = 49 years until the rebuilding of Jerusalem
62x7 = 434 years until Messiah the Prince is cut off
a prophetic year = 360 days
434+49 = 483 years, when the Romans destroyed the second Temple
The remaining 7 years starts with the signing of the covenant with the "the prince who is to come"
