Painting
Functions Used
Foreground
- GetROP2 retrieves the foreground mix mode of the specified device
context. The mix mode specifies how the pen or interior color and the
color already on the screen are combined to yield a new color.
- SetROP2 sets the current foreground mix mode.
Background
- GetBkColor returns a COLORREF value fo rthe current background
color.
- SetBkColor set the current background color.
- GetBkMode returns the current background mix mode, either OPAQUE or TRANSPARENT.
- SetBkMode sets the current background mix mode.
Pens
- CreatePen creates a logical pen that can subsequently be selected
into a device context and used to draw lines and curves. Use
DeleteObject to delete the pen when it is no longer needed.
Pallettes
- CreatePalette creates a logical palette.
- SelectPalette selects the specified logical palette into a
device context.
- RealizePalette maps palette entries from the current logical palette to the system palette.
Device Context
- CreateCompatibleDC creates a memory device context (DC)
compatible with the specified device. When you no longer need the
memory DC, call the DeleteDC function.
